Beef Stuffed Peppers

Step 1 - Gather Ingredients
6 medium green peppers
1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (8oz.) can tomato sauce
1 8 3/4 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 cup (4 oz.) sharp cheddar cheese
Step 2 - Prepare Peppers and Beef
Wash peppers and cut off tops. Remove centers and discard. In a covered
Dutch oven, cook peppers 5 minutes in one inch of water. Drain and place
in baking dish.
Heat oil and brown ground beef and onion in skillet. Drain, if needed.
Blend in chili powder and salt. Add tomato sauce and corn.
Step 3 - Bake
Stuff peppers with meat mixture. Bake in a 350 degree oven 15 minutes. Remove from oven and top peppers with cheese. Return to oven 5 additional minutes.
Step 4 - Final
Now you're ready to serve and smile. Absolutely delicious! Serves 6.
